Adb will not find Motorola Droid Razr
I can verify that adb works and detects other phones. JDJ 3, 3 18 Sign up or log in Sign up using Google. I finally got it working. The phone is stock. I have a new identical working device. I have spent the last 4 hours scouring ‘s of forum posts, reading ADB documentation, looking through wiki articles trying to learn the ins-and-outs of recovery roms, flashing, etc. I was on the verge of reinstalling Windows, but this fixed the issue completely.

I have a regular and recovery Cyanogen ROM image. Add Comment Cancel reply Save my name, ddroid, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. If Windows stil does not recognize it, your device may not work properly.

RSDLite doesn’t show my device. Before this gets marked as a duplicate please consider rarz virtually every answer involves vague references to things like ‘fastboot’ that I honestly don’t understand and can’t find any information about.

I can verify adb doesn’t find the droid razr by typing “adb devices” at the command prompt. When using any of the auto-root scripts here I get “device not found”. I can’t use ADB because of that. The screen and digitizer are both broken.
Windows 7 Device Manager shows Droid Razr installed with a working driver. I did try “using” fsv of “using” fastboot to boot with the Cyanogen recovery ROM which may or may not be the correct ROM and may or may not have debugging enabled and I don’t actually know if “boot” permanently modifies the device or not:. Also I changed PC but again the same!!!! Simply keeps disappearing after the first time it works, and then I have to reset again.
